Otaku Senshi FAQ
General
Where do you get your inspiration for you Senshi?Oh, all over, really. Most of the time the desire comes from either trying to challenge certian cliches, or because I like the idea of that kind of senshi.
You seem to have a lot of senshi.
Currently I have 179 of them. <3
Apoclypse Questions
These are Neo Senshi, right? So why call them "Fushi" Senshi?Irony! I do (don't quote me on this) that "Fushi" is Japanese for (among other things) immortality and eternal life. Which runs contray to some things that happen in the story.
So, why is Sailor Saturn called Neo Sailor Saturn if she's the same person?
That's mainly used to set her apart from the Sailor Saturn found in my AU. It would get confusing for me otherwise.
Why don't they have a similar fuku scheme, like their mothers?
The Fushi Senshi are not exactly the best of team mates. Having a fuku base for all of them to share would undermine that point.
I thought Chibi-Moon's Senshi team were the Asteroid Senshi?
This particular story is based off the anime, where they don't exist as senshi.
Why Pseudo?
Pseudo=fake. <3 And it's cool.
Why do some of the Pseudo senshi have white skin, or pointed ears?
In the case of the white skin, Pseudo Moon and Saturn have it because they are the first two demonic clones off the line-so they're bound to have some flaws. As for the ears, some of the senshi, such as Pseudo Venus, have more demon DNA in them than the others.
Black Eclipse Questions
Dark Senshi? Don't you already have a team of evil senshi?There's more than one way to make a dark Senshi team. The Dark Senshi are quite different from the Pseudo Senshi.
I see a Sailor Chibi-Comet in your misc senshi gallery. How is she related to Sailor Comet?
When I orgianlly made Sailor Comet, she had a little clone named Sailor Chibi-Comet. These two were basically my first otaku senshi and while I revamped Comet, I never could effectively revamp Chibi-Comet, so she was cut when it came time to give Comet her own story.
You know there's already a Dark Sailor Mercury, right?
Mine came first. <3 Different concept, anyways. Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon is in a cannon all of it's own for me.
Color Guardians Questions
Why Color Senshi?Well, I origanlly desgined Sailor Gray for a Color Senshi concept. I hadn't planned to make a whole team of them then, but I later came back and thought that the idea was neat, and wondered if I could pull it off. And so, the Color Senshi were born!
Why are there no senshi for Orange, Brown, or Yellow?
I couldn't think of any themes for them, to be honest.
Where did you get the idea for the Color Senshi to be formless spirits that needed to have hosts in order to gain physical bodies?
Well, I've always liked the idea of someone having two souls in one body. I wanted to use that at some point. Origanlly, I had just planned it for Green and Gray, but then I expanded it to everyone except for White and Black.
So, why don't White and Black need human hosts to have physical bodies?
They're just that awesome. xD
Why do some of the senshi (Red, Black, White) have secondary colors while others (Pink, Green, Purple, Blue) don't?
I felt that Red, Black, and White needed a bit more to them. I didn't have very many varities of color for red-and in the cases of White and Black I had no varity at all. So I felt that I needed something extra.
Zodiac Questions
How come not all of your senshi act like their Zodiac personalitys? They ARE Zodiac senshi, right?That's WAY too boring. Not everyone acts exactly like their zodiac sign dictates, and I didn't want to make these senshi any different just because they were Zodiac senshi.
So... what's the deal with Sailor Aries? What's with all the alternate desgins in her gallery?
Well, after redesging her twice, I found that I simply could not get a fuku I liked for this Senshi. And so I kept her skin color, hair color and style, eye color, and mechanical legs, and then started up a contest to desgin her fuku. The winner was Kri's desgin, however, I put up all of the alterenate entries because they're neat to look at. <3
Just out of curiosity, how many forms does Sailor Cancer have?
Um, let's see. There's Princess Selene, both older and younger, as well as Ese and Sailor Cancer. There's also the Princess of Nemesis, and the Black Moon Queen, as well as her as Neo Sailor Moon, so that's about... seven.
Why pick 12 for Sailor Cancer?
Because creepy kids are the win. Thats' the only reason.
What gave you the insipiration for Sailor Gemini?
My rambling genetics teacher! She told us about a condition called "Chimeraisim". This is the second time I've used that for a character.
So, where'd the idea for Scorpio's posion skin come from?
Well, Scorpio is represented by the Scorpion, so I thought it would be a neat idea if she had some physical connection with posion. ... Okay, that's BS. It came from my arse.
Elementals Questions
Why tell the story of a doomed Senshi team?It's interesting. <3 What other reason do I need to do anything?
Yellow-Orange is an interesting color to give to a Sailor Athena. Why pick it?
Heck if I know. I just did. That happens sometimes.
AU Questions
What inspiried you to do this?Haven't you learned anything by now? It's interesting. I like playing with what's cannon, and so creating a flat out AU sounded like a fun challenge.
Drifters Questions
There are a lot of senshi here. Why so many?They all have different stories. Only a few of them appear in the same story. Here's the run-down-

Why Sailor Moon-"chan"?
Offically, she's Sailor Moon. The chan is just used to set her apart from the one in the AU for referance purposes.
Uh... so, what's up with Sailor Landslide and Rockslide Knight? Why do they pull a Starlight?
Because I thought it would be a neat idea if there were two fraternal twins, but something screwed up when they were born, so they got each others Starseed.
Sailor Sun scares me.
That's not a question, but that WAS the intent. <3 She's the stuff of nightmares, allright.
Celestia Questions
Yadda, Celestia, Kuurin, Ida, and Fler. Where did those planet names come from?Honestly? My arse.
Why make a pregnent senshi? And how come Yadda never looks pregnent?
Flerians have very long gestation periods. Yadda, at the beginning of the story, has JUST entered the final term of her pregnancy. Flerin children, even half-Flerin children, take a LONG time to devlop. As the story proceeds it will become more and more prominent. And as for why I did it... well, it was nessecary for the sequeal. AND interesting!
What were Malvia and Maliya's Senshi names?
Just plain old Sailor Celestia. Nothing special. Maliya was actually never a senshi, at least, she never got a chance to henshin before she died.
Uh... incest is nasty.
Then don't read the sequal. <3 I think true love incest is pretty.
Oblivion Questions
So... these are third generation senshi, right?Yup!
So, what's the deal with Sailor Princess? Shouldn't she have a name relating to the Moon? I mean, she IS a Princess.
Oh she does! Offically, she's Sailor Selene, but she demands to be called Sailor Princess. She's uh... really unique, that Mie.
Where did the inspiration for the planet Arzaid come from?
Well, one of the sort of themes of this story is that you don't really NEED a Sailor Crystal to be a hero. This is a future where people are so used to the senshi fighting their battles for them, and so to contrast that, I created a race of semi-humaniod people who had never had a Senshi of their own, but had a very strong army, and were able to fight offf any foes that came their way.
